Registration for Fall Choirs will open in late August

Please stop back to reserve your spot in the choir!

Participation in AFA choirs provide opportunities for people with and without disabilities to engage in the performing arts while boosting self-esteem and destigmatizing the lives of those living with disabilities. Many of our choir members have been with their choir for over a decade and rely on the socialization and structure that the rehearsals and performances provide in their lives. Choir members also learn about pitch, tone, rhythm, movement, and composition. Some choirs use instruments, such as tone chimes, drums and rhythm sticks to broaden the musical experience and maximize participation by everyone.

IN-PERSON: Choir rehearsals are held at each choir's respective venue as listed below.

LIVESTREAM: Select choirs provide livestream viewing, offering an opportunity to watch the in-person rehearsals live, for free.

COVID POLICY

Due to the contagious nature of COVID-19 and its disproportionate impact on people with compromised immune systems and the elderly, masks are strongly encouraged during in-person programs for all who can comply. Masks will be provided. If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, please do not attend in-person programming. Many of AFA's programs offer virtual options. Please contact [email protected] if you have questions or for more information about accessing virtual programming.
