Opportunities in Visual Art and Writing

ARTS for ALL Wisconsin Veterans Arts Studios were formed in partnership with Vet Centers in Wisconsin to engage veterans with disabilities in art making experiences. These programs are FREE, and expanding to welcome veterans with disabilities from the public as well as Vet Center clients.

Veterans Arts Studios Objectives:

  • Provide instruction in selected arts disciplines, processes, and techniques, encouraging hands-on exploration and experimentation
  • Nurture an environment of mutual respect, care, and support for one another
  • Promote values such as tolerance and openness to questions
  • Showcase accomplishments to family, friends, and the public
  • Support mental and emotional wellbeing through new modes of expression

COVID POLICY

Due to the contagious nature of COVID-19 and its disproportionate impact on people with compromised immune systems and the elderly, masks are strongly encouraged during in-person programs for all who can comply. Masks will be provided. If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, please do not attend in-person programming. Many of AFA's programs offer virtual options.
