Description

Step into the spotlight and unleash your creativity during this Musical Theatre Movement class designed specifically for people with disabilities.

This vibrant class combines the joy of movement, a foundation of jazz dance, and music from beloved and popular musicals. This class will allow dancers to express their personalities through the magic of musical theatre. Participants will be encouraged to explore their physicality, express emotion, tell a story via movement and music, and build confidence while having fun and enjoying time with friends.

Whether you are a seasoned performer or new to the stage, this class is a welcoming space for everyone. No dance experience is required! Just bring your enthusiasm and a love for dance, music, and theater. Get your jazz hands ready! On with the show!

Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for movement and dancing.

 

Scholarships

Scholarships are available to ensure that more people can experience AFA programming. To begin the scholarship application process, select Scholarship Request for your class tuition rate. 

 

Choose the pay later option when submitting the participant's registration.

Please submit a scholarship application for each class the participant registers for. 

 

We request that participants or their support people submit the scholarship application upon registration or in advance of the first class date. Staff will notify participants of the status and scholarship amount by mid-session. Participants will receive an invoice if a balance is due.
