Wisconsin Rapids Choir (IN-PERSON)

Wisconsin Rapids Choir rehearses on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 7:30-pm  with Choir Director Tammi Klish. 

Participation in AFA choirs provides opportunities for people with and without disabilities to engage in the performing arts while boosting self-esteem and de-stigmatizing the lives of those living with disabilities.

Many of our choir members have been with their choir for over a decade and rely on the socialization and structure that the rehearsals and performances provide in their lives. AFA choir members learn about pitch, tone, rhythm, movement, and composition. AFA Choirs incorporate instruments such as tone chimes, drums, and rhythm sticks to broaden the musical experience and maximize participation from everyone.

Wisconsin Rapids Choir participants will have the opportunity to perform at least twice this fall! The choir will perform mid-semester at an assisted living facility, and again for the Winter concert on the final date of our session, Tuesday, December 8 at the Olio Arts and Music Center.

Scholarships

We have a limited amount of scholarship funds available. People with extreme financial need may contact the Director of Arts Education for consideration for tuition assistance. 

If you intend to contact AFA for financial assistance, please choose Registration by check when prompted for payment. This allows you to complete registration without entering a payment immediately.

At Arts for All Wisconsin, helping participants reach their personal goals is an important part of the work we do. In our classes and workshops, we practice person-centered care, an approach that emphasizes individuals' autonomy in making choices in fulfilling their goals and needs.
