Badger Bash

We have been invited to perform with the UW Marching Band at the UW Badger Bash again this year, and we are so excited to join in the festivities!

This year, we are inviting dancers from Monday's Adaptive Dance class and Saturday's ConfiDance 2 class to join us.

Please note the sign-up deadline for this performance is Sept 1, 2025. 

When: Saturday, September 20, 2025

We will learn the exact time of our performance approximately two weeks before our performance, when the Badger Football schedule is announced. We will let you know as soon as we do!

Where: Union South. AFA ConfiDancers will perform outside in a designated area in front of the UW Marching Band. 

Transport: A bus will pick up AFA ConfiDancers and their care providers at MYArts and will drop us there after the performance. 

Rehearsal: Sarah Jacobson, AFA's Director of Dance Education, will provide an instructional video for your participant to practice dancing at home. We will also practice the dance in class the week before the Badger Bash.  If your child elects to participate in the Badger Bash, it is especially important that they attend class the week prior to this event.

Please know that it is not vital that your dancer knows the dance perfectly. Sarah and AFA volunteers will perform alongside the dancers. Attending class the week prior, and viewing Sarah's instructional video will help dancers familiarize themselves with the dance moves. We encourage your dancer to practice as much as they are able.

We realize that this is very short notice with little time to rehearse, but we are confident that with Sarah’s guidance, our ConfiDancers will be up to the challenge!
