A tactile and rhythm-focused workshop series for individuals who are blind or have low vision. Created in collaboration with Dr. Cat Burkat, founder of Dance Sees No Limits, this class is designed to provide an opportunity to explore dance and movement in a safe and adaptive environment. We will be vigilant about any sensitivity to sound, balance, and spatial awareness. Dancers will explore with tactile teaching aides such as scarves, balls, and bells. Students will receive clear, concise verbal instruction, as well as hand over hand instruction if appropriate/welcomed.
Parent/caregiver participation is required.
