This fun and energetic class is designed to provide children with diverse abilities the opportunity to explore dance and movement in a safe and adaptive environment. Using a multi-sensory approach along with different themes, the dancer is given the opportunity to experience a variety of music and dance styles. A mixture of props, such as hoops, ribbons, feathers and scarves may be used to help encourage imagination and aid in the development of motor, sensory, coordination and social skills. ConfiDANCE 1 is taught by Teaching Artist Sarah Jacobson.
Parent/caregiver participation is required.
ConfiDANCE 1 meets twice a month on Saturday mornings.
Class Dates: 9/14, 9/28, 10/12, 10/26, 11/9, 11/23, 12/7, 12/21
Participants must be 4 years to 11 years old when the program starts.
Registration starts on 07/26/2024 and ends on 12/21/2024.
